The Hidden Energy of Used Objects

The Hidden Energy of Used Objects
Hana always loved a good deal. She believed that “used doesn’t mean bad — as long as it’s in good condition.” Six months into her marriage, she needed to replace the bedroom set that had broken during their move. Her husband, Karim, wanted to buy new furniture, but their budget was tight.
Hana searched through online groups until she found a bedroom set that looked elegant and cost half the price of a new one. The seller, a woman, assured her: “It’s in perfect condition — I’m just selling because I’m traveling.” Convinced, Hana paid a deposit and hired a mover to bring it home.
From the very first night, Hana felt a strange energy in the room. Restless sleep, frequent headaches, and arguments with Karim over nothing. He became tense and irritable, and their fights always seemed to erupt inside that room.
Two weeks later, Hana opened a drawer in the nightstand and found a handwritten note: “May God compensate me with goodness… and keep evil away from me.” Beneath it lay a broken gold wedding ring. Her anxiety grew.
She consulted a friend knowledgeable in energy work, who told her: “This room carries the pain of those before you — the energy of conflict and separation. The energy of a place travels with the object.” Hana connected the dots — the seller had left her husband. The room had witnessed years of arguments and heartbreak.
Karim began staying out late. Every time they entered the room, tension spiked — as if something resisted peace. One night, a fierce argument erupted. Karim said something unforgivable, and Hana responded in kind. The next morning, he divorced her.
After the divorce, Hana packed her bags and left. Two weeks later, she heard that Karim had sold the same bedroom set — at the same price — to someone new. Hana reflected: “Not every bargain is a gain. Some used objects carry souls, pain, and memories… and we bring them into our lives without realizing it.”
Before bringing any used item into your home — whether furniture, clothing, stones, or statues — cleanse it from the energy of past memories and emotions. Otherwise, you may unknowingly inherit someone else’s pain.
